Valentine joined us in July 2011 for a short-term internship in our London office. Currently studying Integrated Design at the Koln International School of Design, he’s already managed to accrue four years of communication design experience in his native Germany.
“Native” is perhaps a misleading term for someone with such an international background however, as Valentine was brought up in Dubai and has also spent time living in India. He’s joined STBY to gain some deeper experience in Design Research, and has brought with him the mantra “let’s make a better mistake tomorrow”, hitting the ground running with that one by eschewing Luke’s tea in favour of something called “coffee” (must be a continental thing…).
